Due to demand, registration for Rainforest Falls VBS at Good Shepherd will close on June 1st, unless we receive 200 student registrations; then registration will close before June 1st to ensure our capacity meets the volunteer availability.

What to Expect:

This year’s theme, Rainforest Falls, will guide kids through wildly exciting activities, engaging Bible lessons, high-energy worship, and hands-on crafty creations, all designed to point them to Jesus, the One who helps us grow deep roots of faith! From ferociously fun games to stories that leap off the vine, every moment will be packed with rainforest-sized adventure!

Lessons

In Bible lessons, kids will trek through the rainforest as they discover God’s Word in exciting, interactive ways that help their faith grow strong and steady.

Crafts

Creativity comes alive in crafts as kids make fun, hands-on projects inspired by the rainforest, giving them something meaningful to take home that connects back to each day’s lesson.

Games/Worship

During games and worship, the fun goes full jungle mode with high-energy activities and joyful praise that get everyone moving and celebrating together.

Serving

Serving the community gives kids the opportunity to put their faith into action, learning how to love others well through simple, meaningful acts that reflect the heart of Jesus.

We are looking for volunteers who are existing fifth-grade, above and adults in a variety of roles. With exciting activities, meaningful lessons, and plenty of tropical fun, you’ll help create a wild and wonderful adventure for every child. Whether you’re leading games, guiding small groups through the rainforest, or sharing Bible stories under the canopy, there’s a place for you to serve!
