YOUTH MINISTRY
At Good Shepherd, Youth Ministry (6th-12th grade) is all about creating a space where you can be yourself, build real friendships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in your everyday life.

Our mission is simple: to know Jesus and to make Him known. Everything we do, whether it’s worship, diving into God’s Word, serving together, or just hanging out, is centered around helping you grow in faith and share it with others.

We believe these years matter. The way you experience Christ now shapes how you’ll live out your faith for the rest of your life.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
ENGAGE
Sunday mornings (10:00–10:45am) are all about digging deep into God’s Word and seeing how it connects to real life.

Middle School | Disturbing Stories from the Bible
The Bible doesn’t shy away from messy, hard, and even disturbing moments. Our middle schoolers will wrestle honestly with these stories and discover how God’s love, faithfulness, and redemption show up—even in the darkest places. -
High School | Click Bait
Headlines are designed to grab your attention, but what happens when you filter them through Scripture? In this study, high schoolers will take trending topics and cultural moments and ask: Where is God in this? How does my faith shape my response? It’s more than just knowing the news—it’s learning how to live as followers of Jesus in a world that’s always pulling for your attention.
SUNDAY EVENINGS
CONNECT
Every Sunday night (6:30–8:00pm), Middle and High School students come together for Youth Group, one place, one community. These nights are packed with high-energy games, real connection with friends, and opportunities to grow closer to Jesus. It’s also one of the easiest ways to invite a friend and help them experience the love of Christ.

SHARE
The second Wednesday of every month (6:30–8:00pm), students gather for a night of impact. Together, we’ll step outside ourselves and live out our faith through service—whether it’s a church project, local outreach, or a hands-on mission.

These nights are designed to help students use their gifts, love their neighbors, and see how everyday faith can change the world. We know life is busy with school, sports, and jobs, so instead of adding more pressure, we want to equip students to honor God wherever they already are—and come together monthly to serve as one.
COLOR WARS
AT GOOD SHEPHERD
We’re kicking off the new season of Youth Ministry with one of our favorite events: Color Wars! Join us on Sunday, September 7, from 6:30–8:00 PM at Good Shepherd for an unforgettable night of fun, laughter, and a whole lot of color.
Get ready to dive into crazy games, high-energy challenges, and of course, plenty of colorful powder that will leave you (and your friends) covered from head to toe. Everyone is welcome, and it’s a great way to experience the joy and community of Youth Ministry.
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy, bring your friends, and come ready to make memories. We can’t wait to see you there for the wildest, most colorful night of the year!
